The Common Problem

Tired of awkward split chats and cluttered apps? You're not alone.

Most budgeting tools demand hours of manual categorization. Bill-splitting apps spam you with social feeds and ads. Hirro strips away the noise with a singular conviction: a note with a number on it.

Ads, tracking, or clutter

No promoted credit cards, no social feeds. Your private ledger is strictly yours.

How you spend and share your money is fundamentally how you live your life. It shouldn't feel like stressful bookkeeping, and splitting a shared dinner or holiday shouldn't create awkward tension between good friends. We built Hirro to give you pure clarity, calm design, and honest math without the clutter.

Simplicity by Architecture

Everything is a group. Built for real life.

A personal ledger is simply a group with one member. Adding someone converts it to a shared group. No separate "personal mode", no rigid boundaries.

Got Questions?

Frequently Asked Questions

Straight answers about how Hirro handles your money, your groups, and your data.

No. Your personal ledger is a group β€” one with a single member β€” so you start logging immediately. The moment you add someone to it, the same expenses become shared and Hirro starts tracking who owes whom. There is no separate "personal mode" to migrate out of, and nothing to re-enter.

Say three people split $10.00. A third is 333.33… cents, which nobody can pay. Hirro stores every amount as whole minor units (cents, rials) and hands the leftover unit to a specific person instead of rounding it away: one person owes 334, the other two owe 333. Who gets the extra unit is deterministic, never random β€” and the shares always add back up to the bill exactly. Open the expense and the breakdown lists each person's share to the cent.

Yes β€” each card, group and loan keeps its own currency, and balances are reported per currency. Hirro deliberately does not convert between them behind your back: exchange rates move, and a converted total would quietly misstate what you actually owe. You see "$2,990.50 and 39,999,983 IRT", not a blended guess.

Add the principal, the rate and the number of months, and Hirro builds the whole schedule up front β€” annuity, equal principal, or interest-free. Each installment gets a due date and a reminder, and paying one records an ordinary expense against the card you paid with, so your loan payments show up in your spending like everything else rather than living in a spreadsheet.

Splitwise handles shared bills but surrounds them with ads, paywalls, and multi-screen entry. YNAB is a serious personal budgeting system that asks you to budget every month to get value from it. Hirro covers personal spending, shared splits and loan schedules in one ledger, optimised for the ten seconds right after you pay for something β€” no ads, no feed, no monthly ritual required.

Only you, and the people you explicitly share a group with β€” who see that group's expenses and nothing else. Hirro runs on its own self-hosted backend, sells nothing to advertisers, and carries no third-party tracking SDKs. You can delete your account and your data from inside the app.

Hirro was conceived and directed by Ali Azimoshan (Product Owner & CEO), out of frustration with financial tools that create more anxiety than they resolve. It is built to be a quiet, dignified companion for everyday money.
